We welcome Robert Haase and his Bio-image Analysis technology development group in the BioDIP!

He started November 1st at the Cluster of Excellence Physis of Life at the TU Dresden. His groups mission is to build strong bridges between the communities involved in imaging, image analysis, image-based simulations, and image data mining. They facilitate application of artificial intelligence, graphics processing units, cloud- and high-performance-computing in the imaging context. Close collaboration, knowledge exchange, open source software, and work in interdisciplinary teams are their methods of choice to solve the puzzles behind the Phyics of Life.
