The BioDIP is currently funded by the German Research Foundation DFG (Deutsche Forschungsgemeinschaft) as imaging "core facility" (DFG Gerätezentrum, press release).

Mission

The BioDIP is a network of core facilities providing open access to Advanced Microscopy Systems and Image Processing. We do serve internal as well as external users. The goal of this network is to join our forces and to bring our knowledge and equipment closer together. This Wiki serves as the central resource for all necessary information regarding our network. Here you can find the appropriate teaching material for our courses, search for a microscope of interest and find links to useful external resources. In case that you wish to run an imaging project using one of our facilities, please feel free to use the contact form to get in touch with us! We will be happy to guide you to the right BioDIP facility and the respective imaging expert.

News

BioDIP equipment is included in the database of the Technology Platform within the DRESDEN-concept e.V..

The Euro-BioImaging logo is displayed.

BioDIPs expression of interest got highest ranking as "Highly recommended Expression of Interest for Euro-BioImaging Node" by the Independent EUBI Evaluation Board.

Supported by the DRESDEN-concept e.V. the BioDIP did express its interest to become a General Access Node for advanced microscopy within the Euro-BioImaging network. Find here more information about the results of the 1st Open Call for Nodes.

BioDIP served as a Euro-BioImaging Proof-of-Concept site.

BioDIP is a member of the German Bioimaging project.
