Notes for admin and advanced stuff.

Camera computers - RDP ntservice - process that talks to the omx master PC

Camera Offset setting is in File - Settings

Chip pixel correction - is in Hardware Test : PCO Camera Bias (On/Off) Create Bias image - takes a few min to capture and average dark images for each frame size. Default is 10 images, and all frame sizes.

Tools - Scorch Hardware = Blaze R2 Hardware window. Don't touch!

Don't do SI at more than 512x512, as the pattern is not good out at the edge at 1024x1024.

512x512 is still approx 40 microns 1024x1024 is approx 80 microns across. pix size 82 ish nm. (6.4 ish micron dexels)

For timelapse and points list in SI mode, set them up in Conv tab and they will be used in SI mode!!! SI optical sectioning is still in the SI tab.

Camera temp 3oC is normal.

Order of SI image acquisition is now: Lambda, Phase, angle, z, points, time (order is fixed currently, but development is in progress to be able to change it)

Known Bug: After hardware restart, rainbird galvo (blaze subunit galvo) may not be in correct position, so light may not get to sample in SI mode. Work around (either of the 2 options below):

  1. Tools - scorch hardwware - click one of the angle boxes to force movement to an angle.
  2. Do a single SI experiment of any kind... and the end, the galvo will go to a proper angle.
