The OMX-FLEX is primarily a structured illumination microscope (SIM), which works in several modes: 2D SIM, 3D SIM and TIRF SIM. The microscope is equipped with 4x sCMOS cameras, 4 lasers: 405nm, 488nm, 561nm, 642nm, a set of filters suitable for DAPI/GFP/TRITC/CY5, and has photo-manipulation capabilities (FRAP and photo-activation). The microscope has other imaging modalities: - fast Widefield imaging - ring TIRF - line scanning confocal microscopy (IRIS) and enhanced confocal mode (EDGE) - SMLM.
