System Left On

The last user of the day is supposed to switch off the respective system properly.

Leaving the microscopes running non-stop makes the system components age faster, which then have to be replaced more often. This also affects the whole recharge-system, as the hourly system costs are calculated based on active usage time.

Therefore, failing to switch the system off properly, will result in the LMF having to:

  • Extend the users' booking until the time one of the LMF team discovers that the system is still running (which is usually not until the next morning).
  • Add 30/15 minutes of assistant time for switching the system off instead of the user.
