Relaunch tasks

This page is used by the BioDIP website relaunch team. Here we will collect all changes needed to optimize the new BioDIP website.

The following tasks are to be done in the near future. Let us assign a responsible person and an schedule!

Insert any progress into the Neonblue page!

• We decided to keep up to date both website versions (live & development system) in parallel.
  • Remember to make all changes of the live system (biodip.de) also in the development system (biodip.neonblue.de)
  • Otherwise your changes will be lost with the next update!

• We decided to keep the main page as it is for the time beeing.

Light Microscope

• Page
  • damit haben wir nichts zu tun, oder?
• Reihenfolge der items Camera - Display - Facility Member - Frame Rate - Institution - erschliesst sich mir nicht

• Light Microscope - momentan nach "System ID" aufgelistet, könnte man den "System Name" ebenfalls anzeigen? Oder müssen wir uns entscheiden?
  • "Building" sollte aus einer Liste auswählbar sein, kein einfaches Eingabefeld
  • Was bedeutet "Touch date"?
  • "Room" sollte in Abhängigkeit des "Buildings" aus einer Liste auswählbar sein, kein einfaches Eingabefeld
  • Images: ich habe ein Bild hochgeladen, konnte es aber nicht per "Create new relation" einbinden. Was mache ich falsch?
  • Sip number: bitte SIP number verwenden
  • Additional Equipment:
    • Formatierungsmöglichkeiten, um CO2 optimal darzustellen?
    • Können wir auf das Additionally Equipment verlinken für den Fall, dass wir dieses auch als Gerät erfasst haben?
  • "Link To Descriptions" - bitte "Link To Manufacturer Description" verwenden
  • "Internal D D C I D" - bitte "Internal DDc ID" verwenden
  • "Category": hier müssen Haupt- und Unterkategorie auswählbar sein aus 2 getrennten Listen
  • Cpu: bitte groß schreiben: CPU
  • Ram: bitte groß schreiben: RAM
• Microscope Stand
  • warum gibt es "Microscope Stand" im Verzeichnisbaum unter "Light Microscope" und unter Light Microscope (siehe screenshot)

Category

Mindmap categories

• Soll Tiefe 2 haben, am Beispieldatensatz
  • Hauptkategorie: widefield
  • Unterkategorie: TIRF
• Im Moment lässt sich TIRF aber als Hauptkategorie auswählen, so dass bei Category Widefield als parent TIRF steht und bei Category TIRD parent Widefield.
• Haupt- und Unterkategorien sollen getrennt sein und sich nicht vermischen entsprechend der mindmap 20150605-categories.mm (siehe auch Bild hier)

MicroscopeStand

• Name: soll kein reines Eingabefeld sein, sondern Auswahl aus den bereits vorhanden Stands ermöglichen
• Reflector Holder1 Type: Auswahl revolver / slider, kein Eingabefeld
• Reflector Holder1 Style: Auswahl manual / motorized, kein Eingabefeld
• Number Of Position Rh: umbenennen in Number Of Holder1 Positions
• Reflector Revolver2 Type: analog Reflector Holder1 Type

EM data base

• Isabel will work on it with neonblue - Example data set has not been included by neonblue yet. I shall be able to this (got the authorization) ...

Test website on mobile devices

  • test different browsers in various OS
  • test mobiles:

    • adroid htc 4.4.2. internet explorer (Silke T.) - geht nicht - screenshot
    • andoid 4.3., 5.1.1. google chrome (Britta) - geht
    • tablets: ipad (Hella), samsung (Isabel), kindle fire (Britta)
      • Samsung Tablet 4, Android 4.4.2
        • Internet 1.5.28 (Standardanwendung - vorinstalliert) - geht nicht (außer dem bioDIP Logo und den Icons "Home" & "Menü" wird nichts angezeigt
        • Google Chrome (Version 49.0.2623.91) - geht bedingt:

1. DD-concept Box wird unvollständig angezeigt

2. Partner Logos am Seitenende sind nach unten gerutscht

3. Ruft man Publications oder FAQ (via der Icons) auf, wird links das dazugehörige Menü nicht angezeigt

Get / create images of missing BioDIP staff mambers

Integrate TUD map

• Isabel - figure out current state: CN is ready for integration into the website. TUD people (Hr. Tabere) contacted neonblue just now (14.03.2016). Maps are implemented now, have a few deficiencies though. TUD people (Hr. Tabere) are already informed.

Write the content for the organigram
