During the PhD practical courses, many groups need to use LMF microscope systems as part of the teaching. Our experience tells us that this needs to be arranged well in advance in a systematic and functional way:
- You must give LMF at least 2 weeks notice when requesting a slot for teaching on a microscope system.
- Send an email to LMF@mpi-cbg.de detailkng want systems you need, what small equipment you need, and when you need it.
- We will not push other user off their booked slots because a teacher was not organized enough to have us reserve the microscope well in advance.
- LMF will book the slots for you on behalf of the PhD program budget, and make a note in the booking about who is the teacher and so on.
