If the user encounters a problem while working with a system, he/she should inform the LMF about the problem by one of these ways:

  • 1 For immediate help the user should come to the LMF office and ask for help.
  • 2 If the office is empty, the user should call the LMF helpline phone (210-2345).
  • 3 If the user can't reach anyone (nights, weekends), he/she should send an email to lmf(at)mpi-cbg.de and describe the problem.
  • 4 Alternatively to the email, the user can also directly use the Problem-Report function in the booking database:
    The user should create choose the right system in the drop down menu, and create a new Report by stating the problem in one general heading. Once the Report is created, the user should describe the problem in detail by adding a comment to the report. Adding a new report/comment to the database will automatically send an email to the LMF team.
