Report A Problem

If the user encounters a problem while working with a system, he/she should inform the LMF about the problem via one of these ways:

  1. The user should use the "Problem" tab in the booking database:
    1. Adding a new report/comment to the database will automatically send an email to the LMF team.
    2. The user should choose the right system in the drop down menu
    3. Then create a new Report by stating the problem in one general heading.
    4. Once the Report is created, the user can describe the problem more in detail by adding a comment to the report.
    5. You can see all the problem report for that system, and see if the problem is already there.
  2. For immediate help the user should come to the LMF office and ask for help.
    1. If the office is empty, the user should call the LMF helpline phone (210-2345).
    2. If the user can't reach anyone (nights, weekends), he/she should send an email to lmf(at)mpi-cbg.de and describe the problem, or just use the Problem function in the booking database system.
