If the user encounters a problem while working with a system, he/she should inform the LMF about the problem via one of these ways:
- The user should use the "Problem" tab in the booking database:
- Adding a new report/comment to the database will automatically send an email to the LMF team.
- The user should choose the right system in the drop down menu
- Then create a new Report by stating the problem in one general heading.
- Once the Report is created, the user can describe the problem more in detail by adding a comment to the report.
- You can see all the problem report for that system, and see if the problem is already there.
- For immediate help the user should come to the LMF office and ask for help.
- If the office is empty, the user should call the LMF helpline phone (210-2345).
- If the user can't reach anyone (nights, weekends), he/she should send an email to lmf(at)mpi-cbg.de and describe the problem, or just use the Problem function in the booking database system.
