System Left On
From BioDIP
The last user of the day is supposed to switch off the system properly.
Leaving the microscopes running non-stop makes the system components aging faster, which then have to be replaced sooner. This also effects the whole recharge-system, as the hourly system costs are calculated based on the active usage time.
Therefore, failing to switch the system off properly, will result in the LMF having to:
- Extend the users booking until the time we discover that the system is still running (which is usually not until the next morning).
- Add 30/15 minutes of assistant time for switching the system off instead of the user.
