The BioDIP has developed over a couple of years. Major steps were the foundation of the Imaging Facilities Network (IFN) in 2006 and later the foundation of the BioDIP in 2013 enabled by the DFG "Core facilities" funding.

Scientist from Prague visit BioDIP.
Davide Basello & his colleague Radek Machan from Charles University in Prague visit BioDIP for pilot experiments at the lattice lightsheet microscope (AIF). Within the frame of BioDIP's guest program, Davide will perform FCS measurements to gain further insights in the dynamics of an essential Cajal Body protein.

Ana Espirito Santo from UK and Davide Basello from Czech Republic are accepted to visit BioDIP and use it's imaging infrastructure & services for their research project.
