BioDIP's History

The BioDIP has developed over a couple of years. Major steps were the foundation of the Imaging Facilities Network (IFN) in 2006 and later the foundation of the BioDIP in 2013 enabled by the DFG "Core facilities" funding.

Lecture on BioImage Analysis.

The sommer semester at TU Dresden features a new lecture series "Applied bio-image analysis, statistics and programming for computational biology" offered to students of Molecular Bioengineering and Nanobiophysics. Initiated by Robert Haase, this lecture is open to everyone on the campus and gives deep insights into the field of bio-image analysis.

Luis leaves the IP at the DZNE!

Our equipment database is finally finished and ready to be browsed by you! It is a comprehensive and in-depth collection of all imaging related infrastructure available on the campus. It will help you find the correct equipment, where it is located and whom you should contact.

New member at the AIF!

Sergei Kyklov started as instrument control developer and will support Nicola and the Advanced Imaging Facility (MPI-CBG) by developing new control algorithms.
