How to get here

All of BioDIP's research institutions are situated in Dresden-Johannstadt and are within easy walking distance to each other (10 - 15 min). The directions given below guide you to either "Pfotenhauerstraße" or "Fetscherstraße" from where you will easily find your way to either of the institutes.

via airplane

From the Airport, please take the train S2 (every 30 min) to the train station Bahnhof-Neustadt. Then take the tram no. 6, direction Niedersedlitz, to the station Blasewitzer/Fetscherstraße.

via train

From the main train station (Hauptbahnhof) please take the tram no. 10, direction Striesen, to the station Fetscherplatz. Then take the tram no. 12, direction Striesen, to the station Blasewitzer/Fetscherstraße. You can also use tram no. 3 (Wilder Mann) or 7 (Weixdorf) and change at Pirnaischer Platz to bus line 62 (Johannstadt) which runs along Pfotenhauerstraße. Depending on where you want to go get off at station Gutenbergstraße for the DZNE, at the station Neubertstraße for the CRTD/BIOTEC or at the terminal stop for the MPI-CBG. From the train station Bahnhof Neustadt take tram no. 6, direction Niedersedlitz, to the station Blasewitzer/Fetscherstraße.

Leave Autobahn A4 at the exit Dresden-Hellerau, which will take you onto the B 170 heading towards the city center (Zentrum). After 1.5 km, at the gas station, turn left into "Stauffenbergallee" and drive for about 3.5 km until you reach the tunnel of the "Waldschlößchenbrücke". After the tunnel, drive over the bridge. You are now on Fetscherstraße, turning either left or right brings you to Pfotenhauerstraße.
